Dragon GP730-3 Crawler Type DTH Drilling Rig
Dragon GP730-3 Automatic Crawler Mounted DTH Drill Rig is the air-compressor separated hydraulic DTH drill rig. It is equipped with automatic pipe changer for pipe storage, changing and connecting automatically, as well as hole locating device and luxurious cabin. Safe and comfortable operation environment substantially reduces labor intensity and curtails labor numbers.In contrast to the all-in-one rigs, GP730-3 is featured by its convenient operation and maintenance as well as low downtime rate
Main Configuration

 ★ Cabin    

The sealed air-conditioned cabin is made with FOPS which meets EU and US safety protection standards. The all-around large safety windows offer great visibility and help the operator control the rig precisely from all angles.


Rotation Unit 

The double cycloid motors can output massive torque and reducepossibility of pipe-stuck situation. And the rotation rate can becontinuously adjusted according to different rock formations. Theseals for the rotation unit is with extraordinary performance andlong service life.



 ★ Air intake system 

                                         

A three-stage air filtration system is adopted,  and the outermost layer is anenhanced  desert filter, which ensures clean air intake,
 while reducing the cost of air filtration and greatly reducing the engine failure rate.                                          
                                          
         
 ★ Dust collecting system  

The efficient hydraulic dust collector is equipped with
 a sliding dust cover. It boasts high dust collecting efficiency 
and stable performance, extends the rig's service life and 
ensures a clean working environment.

Maintenance and repair are very convenient due to that the maintenance and check points are easily accessible, engine compartment is well organized, and all service doors can be easily opened and closed.

The operation system is simple and ergonomically-friendly. The rig's operating parameters like real-time drilling angle, instructions and warnings all can be clearly displayed on the dashboard, easy for the operator to monitor and control the drill rig.
It adopts hydraulic pilot control system. The left joystick incorporates the functions like connection and disconnection of the drill pipes, control of the mechanical hands, rotation of the pipe carousel. All the movement for automatic pipe connection and disconnection can be achieved by one hand. The right joystick gathers the drilling controls to feed, rotate, etc. And the driling can be automatically set to make operation easy and save time. The traveling of the drill rig is controlled by double hydraulic systems which ensure the traveling stability and feature high reliability.

★ Undercarriage     

The maintenancefree heavy duty undercarriage features robust structural strength, wide tracks and excellent gradeability, which all ensure better stability while drilling. The undercarriage can oscillate +10° back and forth, featuring adjustable dual speed and fast maneuverability between sites. The high ground clearance of over 400mm suits varieties of tough terrain and minimizes the possibility of collision with ground.
